С упорством, достойным лучшего применения, продолжаю исполнять арию "Глас вопиющего в пустыне". :))))) Ну, вдруг еще кому-то кроме меня это интересно. ;)

В общем, узнала любопытную штуку - кому принадлежит авторство конкретных текстов английского перевода (источник - буклет, приложенный к Complete SYmphonic Recording 1990 года). Дела обстоят очень любопытно, а именно так:

А вот песню On my own (которую очень-очень многие любят и считают одной из лучших во всех LesMis) сочиняли вообще всем миром - Alain Boublil, Herbert Kretzmer, Jean-Marc Natel, Trevor Nunn (! который, впрочем, и еще кое-какие тексты сочинял ;) для других мюзиклов) и John Caird. Во как! :)

Ну и пусть! Пусть мое дело заранее проиграно, как дело мятежников 6 июля 1832, я все равно... все равно... *гордо вскинув голову и вытирая нос несуществующим рукавом красной венгерки*

Нашла на Аудиогалактике пародии конторы под названием Forbidden Broadway. Это прелесть. Досталось очень многим - и Ллойд-Вебберу, и разным исполнителям, и самым-пересамым мюзиклам. A Spoonful of Julie - это про Джули Эндрюс, на мотив одной вещицы из "Мэри Поппинс", Andrew Lloyd Superstar - это начинается как "Суперстар", а потом идет на мотив Memory...

А мне по понятным причинам очень понравилась вещь Ten Years More! :)))))
Злаааая - ЖУТЬ. Зато очень смешно. И очень похоже передразнили Уилкинсона-Вальжана и Болла-Мариуса!

Бросилась искать в сети текст этой песни - не нашла, придется записывать на слух (потом поделюсь), зато нашлись еще кое-какие пародийные тексты. Вот ссылка

Если говорить о забавных вещах, то вот отрывок из поста на

Tim Rice was hosting the concert himself and took a very active part in it . Apart from introducing and talking about the different songs and the shows they were from, he also performed various songs himself, like "Thats My Story", "7 Fat Cows", "All Time High" (with Claire Sweeney - for those abroad, a minor TV personality in the UK who happens to have a very good voice :-)) and - to emphasize how difficult the job of a lyricist is compared to a composer, who can re-use his tunes if they don't work in a particular place - "Kansas Morning" :-)! He also talked about "the split" from Andrew, saying:" Would you want to work with somebody who took 75% of the credit? Would you want to work with somebody who too 75% of the money? Would you want to work with somebody who tries to sleep with all the leading ladies? - Neither did Andrew!" :-)!:))))))))))))))

Что делать, что делать... Тормошить! :))) В крайнем случае начать закидывать бутылками с кислотой. Я не сдамся! :)

Про концерт: боже мой - это ПРЕЛЕСТЬ! :)))))) И еще - получается, у них тоже есть такой анекдот! Есть ведь какая-то наша шутка на эту тему.

Страна должна знать своих героев (в лицо)
