Shoshana Bean and Megan Hilty to Join Wicked Tour for Three Stops
Former Broadway leads Shoshana Bean and Megan Hilty will join the Wicked tour for three cities this fall, according to a production spokesperson. The duo will appear as Elphaba and Glinda, respectively, in Portland at the Keller Auditorium (September 6 through September 17), Seattle at the Paramount Theatre (September 20 through October 1) and Toronto at the Canon Theatre (October 6 through November 16).
Bean and Hilty, who both started out with the Broadway production as standbys, starred together in Wicked for just over seven months. Bean appeared from January 11, 2005 through January 8, 2006 and Hilty had her role from May 31, 2005 through May 28, 2006. Bean is a Portland area native and Hilty was born in the Seattle area, so they will each be playing to hometown crowds during their stint on the tour.
