Don't expect local or network news to give it more than a passing glance--esecially with the "beltway sniper" and the lack of any compelling sound bites. Network/local news is that way. CNN and that unfair & biased network (FNC) may cover it more in a bit more depth. But they're also sniper crazed at the moment. That's why internet news papers are good.

I don't see how this is going to do the rebels in Chechnya any good. The "War on Terrorism" has already droped US oposition to human rights questions in the region and in other former Soviet nations. This will only make the crack down worse.
