Tim Rice was hosting the concert himself and took a very active part in it . Apart from introducing and talking about the different songs and the shows they were from, he also performed various songs himself, like "Thats My Story", "7 Fat Cows", "All Time High" (with Claire Sweeney - for those abroad, a minor TV personality in the UK who happens to have a very good voice :-)) and - to emphasize how difficult the job of a lyricist is compared to a composer, who can re-use his tunes if they don't work in a particular place - "Kansas Morning" :-)!
He also talked about "the split" from Andrew, saying:" Would you want to work with somebody who took 75% of the credit? Would you want to work with somebody who too 75% of the money? Would you want to work with somebody who tries to sleep with all the leading ladies? - Neither did Andrew!" :-)!)))))))))))))
