Очень ждем, даже я успокоившаяся поклонница, к своей коллекции иделов мужских образов добавившая ДБ. Кстати, как раз сейчас по ТРК "Украина" идет Дракула 2000.

Ой, не смотрели "Невеста и предрассудки"? Моей маме исполнитель роли Дарси - Мартин Хендерсон - упорно напоминает Батлера.

А Бейл - все же не дотягивает до него. Хотя он мне очень нравится в "Эквилибиуме".

Молодцы, девочки, стойко держитесь за светлый образ Джерри.

О, нет! Меня очень привлекает ДБ, но я бы не рискнула вот так заочно его идеализировать. Чем больше живу, тем всё более убеждаюсь в правоте евангельского изречения "Не создай себе кумира". Уж очень сильна бывает боль разочарования.

Hi everyone! It is true "2005", I agree with you! Gerry is after all a human being and he is not perfect, I suspect he is a serial womanizer ( babnik in Russian But most of the people that meet him ( females) do say that he is very nice to his fans.

Martin Henderson is good looking but doesn't have Gerry's charisma. I wouldn't agree that he looks like Gerry. There is this youg Scottish actor James McAvoy-he looks like younger Gerry, you could check him out on his IMDB profile. he is also a good actor. ( And Scottish! Yam!!!)
I said before, I'm very hardboiled (ravnodyshaya in Russian) towards men, but Gerry blew me off that never happend to me before and I'm old enough not to get crazy over an actor. I would say he is very special.
I'm glad that you guys could see "Equilibrium" I actually own this movie, unfortunately few people saw it i North America. Christian Bale was great in "Batman" you guys had in Russia, right? He is a fantastic actor!
I also have Dracula 2000, Attila, Phantom and Tomb Raider-all because I like looking at Gerry. Usually I would never even watch stuff like that. Gerry steals all the spotlight! My son likes him as well he says he is a hoot ( smeshnoi)

Большинство из нас здесь такие же. Лично я ни за что на свете не стала бы смотреть такие фильмы, как Dracula 2000 и Tomb Raider или Shooters (бррр, даже вспомнить страшно!), если бы не Батлер. Не люблю такие фильмы. Из всех фильмов Батлера, в которых он снялся до "Призрака Оперы" мне больше всего нравятся "Аттила" и Timeline.

Нет, я видимо недостаточно ясно выразила свое мнение. Он - не абсолютный идеал, и даже почти не идеал. Просто, в каждом актере, музыканте, книжном персонаже или ком-то еще, кто мне очень нравился, было что-то, что можно было бы добавить к эдакому единому образу. Будь то Дарси из "Гордости и предубеждения" (Колин Ферт) или Жан Марэ, или Вигго Мортенсен, или Гойко Митич, etc.

Hello ladies! Today is Sunday and I can afford to talk in real time:D
I have foud a really nice lot here! My country fellows ( I hope I can call myself this way since my mom is from Odessa :D ) obsessed with Gerry, you know I find English speaking chats ( and all chats in particular) tedious. There are couple of links to other russian rooms here on your site, I was reading them last night and enjoying myself immensly! People have a great use of Russian language ( which I don't) and express themself very nicely. Aside of screaming "What a man! I want him! you get a detailed analysis why we like him.
Some of the ladies in the very beginning of this forum, her name was Nora I believe, she works inthe theatre. I enjoyed reading her posts very much. Although I never actually lived in Russia, I just travelled there when I was a teen, I still feel a strong connection to the counrty and culture! And you won't believe how much Scotsmen are like Russians! That is so true. That is why a lot of Americans even Brits don't get him-Scots don't like English by the way!
Gerry does remind me of big burly russian guy! He is very funny, but he has this crude to the point humor that most of idiot Americans don't get! I do, and I love it!

I'm not sure if you all heard about this movie "One more kiss" this is early Gerry. Probably you did. We can't even watch it in North America nither DVD nor tapes are available for region 1. Apparently it was not made for US or Canada.
